- DAY1
Arrival: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania. Your Wildecho Exped driver will be waiting at the airport with a sign bearing your name and will take you to your hotel in Arusha to relax. In the evening, your guide gives you a short briefing about the safari ahead. Enjoy the pool, garden, bar and restaurant.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. You will also see lions, buffalo, zebras, giraffes and warthogs searching for water. It is a great place for photography and a perfect start to your safari. In the afternoon, drive to Karatu.

Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga people
After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi for a day of culture. First, meet the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer peoples in Tanzania, and learn about their hunting, foraging and traditional way of life. Next, visit the Datoga, pastoralists known for their beautiful beadwork and metalwork. Return to Karatu in the evening.

Karatu to the Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti, one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations, with a game drive across the endless savannah on the way. Look for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and buffalo. Arrive at camp in the evening.

Full day in the Serengeti, then to Ngorongoro
A full day in the Serengeti. Your guide knows where the big cats like to rest: lions, leopards and cheetahs. Watch predators and prey across different habitats. In the late afternoon, drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and spend the night near the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Tanzania to see rhinos. You will also see lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, flamingos and many antelope species. After a full day of game viewing, drive back to Arusha.

Departure: Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, we transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight. If you would like to continue to Zanzibar, just tell us and Wildecho Exped will arrange everything.
8-day Serengeti wildebeest migration safari
Tanzania's icons plus a place most visitors never reach: Lake Natron and Ol Doinyo Lengai, then the Serengeti, the crater and Lake Manyara.
